1940s floor-length halter slip gown in ivory liquid silk, featuring a sheer floral lace bodice and fluid skirt with a baby hem. The sweetheart neckline extends into halter straps, with piping and ruffle detailing along the bust and neckline. Finished with lace-covered buttons at the back of the neck, arranged in three rows for an adjustable fit.

CONDITION

This gown is in excellent overall condition for its age, with very faint discoloration along the lace at the right waist/rib that is only visible in certain lighting. One small hole near the hem has been carefully mended. Please refer to the photos and videos, taken in natural light, for the most accurate representation of its condition.

Other minor vintage imperfections may be present due to the age and delicate nature of vintage textiles. These are considered normal for garments of this era. We carefully inspect each piece prior to listing and document all visible and notable imperfections to the best of our ability. Not every minor imperfection can always be individually noted.

Care
